Every check on this site, in the order worth doing them. The sequence is deliberate: the free checks come first, and the only one that requires money comes last.

Most venues are resolved in the first three steps, before anything has been committed.
1 · Read the site before the marketing
Free, and it removes a surprising proportion of candidates in a few minutes.
- Is there a named legal entity anywhere, including in the terms?
- Does any page still carry a template's own name in the title bar?
- Is any service described in placeholder Latin?
- Does the price ticker change between reloads?
- Do the trust badges link anywhere, or are they images?
2 · Check the entity, not the brand
Free. This is the step that produces positive evidence rather than negative.
- Find the operating entity named in the terms — often not the brand on the homepage.
- Search that exact name on the register of the regulator claimed.
- Confirm the permission covers the activity offered to you, in your country.
- Search the same name on the regulator's public warning list.
- Check whether the entity you are contracting with is the entity that holds the licence.
3 · Read the custody and cost terms
Free. Both are in the venue's own documents and both are usually clearer than the marketing.
- Are client assets segregated from the operator's own?
- Can the venue lend, stake or rehypothecate them, and is consent assumed?
- What do the terms say happens on insolvency?
- Compare the published fee schedule against a live quote for a small trade.
- Find the withdrawal fee, the minimum withdrawal and any inactivity charge.
4 · Test the exit
The only step that costs anything. Use an amount you would not mind losing.
- Deposit the minimum, trade nothing, withdraw it to where it came from.
- Note whether anything is required at the exit that was not required at the entrance.
- Treat any request for a further payment before funds can be released as decisive.
- Compare what came out with what went in: that difference is the real round-trip cost.
- Only then consider whether an amount that matters belongs there.
What passing all four does not mean
It means the venue survived four cheap checks. It does not mean it is safe, solvent, well run or suitable for anyone in particular, and this site is not in a position to tell you that it is.
Firms that pass every check on this page have failed afterwards. The checks reduce a large field quickly; they do not produce a guarantee, and nothing does.
